We just wrapped an amazing couple of days with Matt Hennessy at VSOP Studios in Chicago, where we mixed four new tracks in Dolby Atmos—a cutting-edge immersive audio format that’s changing how music is experienced.

Under the expert guidance of our dear friend and esteemed engineer Freddie Breitberg at the console, with me, hopefully offering invaluable input, the sessions felt both technically intense and creatively effortless. By the time we signed off on the final mixes, it was more a formality than a decision—the music spoke for itself.

For those unfamiliar, Dolby Atmos is a 3D sound technology that allows music to move around you in space, rather than just left and right like traditional stereo. When you listen on something like Apple’s AirPods Max, you’re not just hearing the music—you’re inside it. Vocals breathe, guitars wrap around you, and rhythms feel alive in a completely new way.

We’re incredibly excited to share this next chapter. The new tracks will be released in the coming weeks, and we believe they represent a leap forward in how Dario Cohen’s music is meant to be heard.
